(EVANSVILLE, IN) - The Evansville Aces can knock off another in-state rival by beating the Indiana Hoosiers at the brand new Ford Center tonight.
Evansville grinded out an 80-77 overtime win against the Butler Bulldogs Saturday, their second consecutive victory over the back-to-back final four participants.
IU is 2-0, securing home victories over Stony Brook and Chattanooga.
Freshman Cody Zeller is the talk of Bloomington, although Victor Oladipo leads the Hoosiers in scoring with an early 18.5 points-per-game average.
Zeller, coach Tom Crean's most celebrated recruit, leads the team in rebounds with a 7.5 per game average and has scored 7 and 16 points against Indiana's two opponents.
The Purple Aces are led by Colt Ryan, who scored 23 points against the Bulldogs.
