(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue defense overwhelmed Western Michigan as the Boilermakers blew out the Broncos 80-37 at Mackey Arena.
Western Michigan hit just eight of their 45 field goal attempts, shooting 18 percent from the field. Ryne Smith led a balanced attack for the Boilers, finishing with a game-high twelve points.
Robbie Hummel finished with eleven points with Jacob Lawson adding ten off the bench as Purdue moves to 5-and-1.
Mike Douglas led the 0-and-5 Broncos with eight points.
Purdue is back in action on Saturday when they host Coppin State.
