(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts enjoy their final off-day of the season today.
The players return to team headquarters tomorrow to begin preparing for the regular season finale with the Jacksonville Jaguars new year's day in Jacksonville. The Colts are 2-and-13 but are riding a two-game winning streak heading to Sunday's game with the struggling Jags. Jacksonville is coming off a loss in Tennessee last Saturday that dropped the Jaguars to 4-and-11.
Jacksonville beat the Colts in the first game this season, winning 17-3 November 13th at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts are tied with St. Louis for the worst record in the NFL and have the inside track in the chase for the number-one overall pick in next April's draft. A Colts loss in Jacksonville will give Indianapolis the top pick no matter what the Rams do in their season-closer against San Francisco.
The Colts are expected to use the first pick on Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. St. Louis already has a good young quarterback in Sam Bradford and would likely trade the top pick for more draft choices.
