(FORT WAYNE, IN) - The IPFW Mastodons made it four wins in a row with a 56-51 victory over Dartmouth at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
The Mastodons opened the game with an 8-0 run, but the Big Green chipped away for much of the game.
Dartmouth took its only lead of the game when Jabari Trotter hit a three-pointer with 5:08 left in the second half to give the Big Green a 47-46 advantage.
Frank Gaines and Trey McCorkle would score six-straight points as IPFW took the lead for good.
Gaines led the Dons with 21 points with McCorkle adding eleven points and a game-high eight rebounds.
David Rufful scored 15 points to lead the Big Green with John Golden adding eleven as Dartmouth has lost four-straight games to fall to 2-7.
IPFW improves to 6-3 heading to a road game at Tennessee-Martin on Sunday afternoon.
