(CHICAGO, IL) - Freshman Roosevelt Jones scored a career-high 16 points as the Butler Bulldogs earned a hard-fought 57-49 win over Illinois-Chicago.
Ronald Nored finished with ten points with Khyle Marshall grabbing a game-high ten rebounds for the bulldogs.
Gary Talton and Marc Brown led the Flames with eleven points apiece with Daniel Barnes adding ten points as UIC drops to 6-12, 2-6 in the Horizon League.
Butler moves to 11-9, 5-3 in the conference.
The Dogs face the Loyola Ramblers Saturday afternoon in Chicago.
