(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Minnesota picked up its first Big Ten win of the season with a 77-74 upset of eighth ranked Indiana in Bloomington.
IU entered the game as the top three-point shooting team in the nation, but the Hoosiers managed to hit just four of their 18 shots from beyond the arc as they lose for the first time at Assembly Hall this season.
Austin Hollins led the Golden Gophers with 18 points with Rodney Williams adding twelve as Minnesota improves to 13-5, 1-4 in big ten play.
Cody Zeller had 23 points and eight rebounds for Indiana with Jordan Hulls finishing with 13 points and Victor Oladipo adding ten.
The Hoosiers have a three-game winning streak snapped as they fall to 15-2, 3-2 in the conference.
IU is at number-five Ohio State on Sunday.
