(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers used a big second half to power their way past Penn State 73-54, snapping a three-game losing streak.
The Nittany Lions controlled the first half, but led by just two at 29-27 at halftime.
IU scored the first two baskets of the second half and later went on a 16-4 run to take control.
Penn State hit just five of their 22 shots from the field in the second half.
Cody Zeller led the 13th-ranked Hoosiers with 18 points.
Jordan Hulls finished with 14 points, all in the second half, and Christian Watford added eleven as IU improves to 12-1 at Assembly Hall this season.
Tim Frazier scored a game-high 21 points for the Nittany Lions with Nick Colella scoring eleven as Penn State falls to 10-11, 2-6 in Big Ten play.
The Hoosiers are now 16-4, 4-4 in the conference.
They face the Wisconsin Badgers Thursday night in Madison.
