(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - The Indiana State Sycamores improved to 7-1 at home as they edged the Evansville Purple Aces 80-78 at the Hulman Center.
Jake Odum led a balanced ISU attack with 15 points with Dwayne Lathan adding 14 points and Lucas Eitel finishing with twelve.
Evansville's Ned Cox led all scorers with 22 points with Colt Ryan scoring 17 and Troy Taylor adding a double-double with twelve points and ten boards.
Evansville falls to 7-8, 2-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference heading to a matchup with Drake Friday night at the Ford Center.
The Sycamores improve to 11-5, 2-3 in the MVC with a game at Southern Illinois on their schedule for Friday night.
