(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Izod IndyCar series rookie of the year James Hinchcliffe has signed to drive with Andretti Autosport for the upcoming season.
Hinchcliffe takes over the Go-Daddy sponsorship that was associated with Danica Patrick.
Dan Wheldon originally signed to drive the number-27 Go-Daddy car the morning he was killed in last October's season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Hinchcliffe drove for Newman-Haas Racing last season and became available when Newman-Haas dropped out of the IndyCar Series.
Andretti Autosport consists of three drivers - Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Hinchcliffe.
Team Owner Michael Andretti would like to field a fourth car this season.
