(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay said he plans to meet with Peyton Manning next week to discuss the four time MVP’s future with the team.
When making his comments Tuesday, Irsay said the team wants Manning back but it's ultimately the quarterback's decision on whether or not to return to the Colts.
The team is scheduled to pay Manning a 28 million dollar roster bonus on March 8th.
Manning will become an unrestricted free agent if the team decides not to pay the money.
Irsay also suggested that restructuring Manning's contract could be another option, but again emphasized that it would be Manning's decision.
