(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Draymond Green scored 20 points and grabbed ten rebounds to lead number-eight Michigan State past Purdue 76-62 at Mackey Arena.
Austin Thornton added a career-high 17 points and Branden Dawson finished with 15 points and eleven boards as the Spartans won their fifth game in a row.
Robbie Hummel led the shorthanded Boilermakers with 24 points and 15 rebounds with Lewis Jackson scoring 15 points as Purdue played without DJ Byrd and Kelsey Barlow following an incident at a West Lafayette bar on Friday morning.
Byrd was suspended for Sunday's game while Barlow was kicked off the team.
Michigan State moves to 22-5, 11-3 in the Big Ten while Purdue falls to 17-10, 7-7 in the conference.
The Boilers host Nebraska on Wednesday.
