(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Media Day is over and now the New England Patriots and the New York Giants can focus on Super Bowl 46 Sunday evening in Indianapolis.
Both teams will hit the practice field today.
The Patriots worked out in full pads on Monday at the Indianapolis Colts' headquarters.
The Giants are practicing for the first time today at their facility at the university of Indianapolis.
Both teams will practice again on Thursday and Friday as they prepare for Sunday's game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Both teams have downplayed that Super Bowl 46 is a rematch of Super Bowl 42, which was won by the Giants 17-14 and was the lone defeat for the 18-1 Patriots.
While many of the faces on both teams have changed in the last four years, the focus remains on the starting quarterbacks from that game, New York's Eli Manning and New England's Tom Brady.
The Indianapolis Colts officially announced the hiring of Bruce Arians as new Head Coach Chuck Pagano's Offensive Coordinator.
Arians was quarterbacks coach for the Colts from 1998 through 2000 and has spent the past five seasons as offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Colts also announced the signing of Harold Goodwin as offensive line coach.
Goodwin also comes to Indy via Pittsburgh.
The team has fired Tight Ends Coach Ricky Thomas and Assistant Offensive Line Coach Ron Prince.
