(OMAHA, NE) - The Creighton Blue Jays overcame a 14 point deficit with under eight minutes left in regulation to edge the Evansville Purple Aces 93-92 in overtime.
Josh Jones' jumper with 23 seconds remaining in OT proved to be the difference.
Doug McDermott and Antoine Young led the Blue Jays with 21 points apiece as Creighton wins its third game in a row.
Colt Ryan scored a career high 43 points for Evansville with Denver Holmes finishing with 25.
The Blue Jays are 24-5, 13-4 in Missouri Valley Conference play while the Aces fall to 14-14, 8-9 in the MVC. .
The Aces wrap up the regular season Saturday afternoon when Missouri State visits the Ford Center.
