(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Butler Bulldogs advanced to the second round of the college basketball invitational with a 75-58 victory over the Delaware Blue Hens at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Chrishawn Hopkins led a balanced Butler attack with 19 points. Andrew Smith finished with 17 points with Ronald Nored scoring twelve and Chase Stigall adding ten as the Bulldogs improve to 21-and-14.
Jarvis Threatt led Delaware with a game-high 31 points as the Blue Hens end their season at 18-and-14.
Butler will face the Pennsylvania Quakers in round two on Monday night at the Palestra in Philadelphia.
