(PHILADELPHIA) - The Butler Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals of the College Basketball Invitational with a 63-53 win over the Penn Quakers at the Palestra in Philadelphia.
Chrishawn Hopkins led four Bulldogs in double figures with 15 points. Khyle Marshall contributed a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds for Butler as the Bulldogs improve to 22-and-14.
Miles Cartwright led the Quakers with twelve points with Zack Rosen adding eleven as Penn ends its season at 20-and-13.
The Dogs will face the Pitt Panthers in the semifinals on Wednesday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
