(NEW YORK, NY) - The Louisville Cardinals advanced to the Big East tournament championship game by defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 64-to-50.
The Cardinals held Notre Dame without a field goal for the final twelve-and-a-half minutes in the first half in route to a 35-to-19 halftime lead.
Jack Cooley had twelve points and eleven rebounds for Notre Dame, who will learn their NCAA tournament seeding tomorrow night.
Louisville will play Cincinnati in the Big East championship game.
