(UNDATED) - In men’s college basketball, the Indiana State Sycamores open play in the CollegeInsider.com tournament tonight when they face the Robert Morris Colonials at the Hulman Center.
The Sycamores are 19-and-11 and have been off since March 2nd when they lost to Wichita State 72-48 in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. The Colonials are 24-and-10 and are coming off a 90-73 loss to LIU Brooklyn in the Northeast Conference championship game.
The Evansville Purple Aces begin their run in the college basketball invitational tonight when they welcome the Princeton Tigers to the Ford Center.
The Aces are 16-and-15 and have not played since March 3rd when they fell to Creighton 99-71 in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. The Tigers are 19-and-11 and finished third in the Ivy League, which does not have a postseason tournament. Princeton last played one week ago when they closed out their regular season with a 62-52 victory over Penn.
