(SOUTH BEND) - Notre Dame guard Alex Dragicevic is leaving the men’s basketball program.
Head coach Mike Brey announced Dragicevic's departure on Tuesday.
The sophomore out of Northbrook, Illinois will finish out the school year and will transfer at the end of the spring semester.
Dragicevic is a 6-foot-7, 221 pound guard who started in ten of the Fighting Irish's 34 games this past season, averaging 6.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game during the 2011-12 campaign.
In a statement released by the university, Brey says he is sorry to see Dragicevic leave the program but supports his decision to transfer.
