(INDIANAPOLIS) - Danny Granger scored 25 points to lead the Indiana Pacers past the Washington Wizards 93-89 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than eight points.
The Pacers led 52-49 at halftime, but Washington tied the game at 52 two minutes into the third quarter and built a 68-60 advantage with four minutes remaining in the period. At that point, Indiana closed out the third with a 12-1 run to regain their three-point edge heading to the fourth quarter.
The Wizards would tie the game three times in the final period but never did regain the lead.
David West and George Hill finished with 14 points apiece as Indiana overcame 39-percent shooting from the field to collect its 30th win of the season.
Jordan Crawford led Washington with 20 points with Nene adding 16 points and 13 rebounds as the Wizards lose their fifth game in a row to fall to 11-and-39 on the season.
The Pacers move to 30-and-20. They travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs on Saturday night.
