Pacers Receive Three Day Break

Last updated on Thursday, March 8, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers are taking their second three-day break since the all-star break.

The blue-and-gold will spend part of the time licking their wounds following back-to-back losses at Chicago and at home against Atlanta.

Tuesday night's 101-96 setback to the Hawks dropped the Pacers to 23-and-14 on the season. They return to action on Saturday night when they face Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in South Florida. The Pacers have been pounded in their two previous games with the Heat, losing 118-83 January 4th in Miami and 105-90 on Valentine's Day in Indianapolis.

The Heat will have two days to rest up.

Miami came from behind to defeat the Hawks 89-86 last night to run their record at home to 17-and-2. The Heat have won their last eleven games at American Airlines Arena.
