(ST. LOUIS, MO) - The Indiana State Sycamores open play in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament this evening when they take on the Southern Illinois at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
The Sycamores went 17-13 during the regular season, 8-10 in MVC play. The Salukis were 8-22, 5-13 in the conference.
The teams split their two meetings this season with each winning on its home court.
Southern Illinois knocked off Indiana State 73-67 January 13th in Carbondale while the Sycamores were 78-68 winners February 11th in Terre Haute.
Tonight's winner will face top-seeded Wichita State on Friday afternoon.
