(UNDATED) - In women’s college hoops, Notre Dame and Purdue will play in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament and will host first and second-round games.
The Boilermakers are first up, opening play against South Dakota State on Saturday afternoon at Mackey Arena.
Purdue is 24-and-8 and is the number-four seed in the Fresno region. The 13th-seeded Jackrabbits are also 24-and-8.
The Fighting Irish will face Liberty on Sunday afternoon at Purcell Pavilion in South Bend.
Notre dame is the top seed in the Raleigh region at 30-and-3. Liberty is the number-16 seed and is 24-and-8.
