(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts continue to get bigger along the defensive line with the signing of free agent defensive tackle Brandon McKinney.
The 6-foot-2, 345-pounder is entering his seventh NFL season. McKinney played for new Colts head coach Chuck Pagano at Baltimore last season. He began his career with San Diego in 2006 and spent two seasons with the Chargers before joining the Ravens in 2008.
McKinney has started in six of his 61 career NFL games, recording 82 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. In 2011, he backed up Terrence Cody in Baltimore, recording 14 tackles in twelve games.
McKinney becomes the third member of Pagano's defense to leave the Ravens and head to Indianapolis.
Defensive end Cory Redding and safety Tom Zbikowski signed with the Colts as free agents last month.
