(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson says the plan is in place for what the Horseshoes will do one week from tonight when they use the number-one overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Grigson did not feel like telling the assembled media Wednesday just what that plan is.
The Colts are expected to take Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck over Baylor QB Robert Griffin the third as they look to replace four-time league MVP Peyton Manning. Manning was released on March 7th and signed with the Denver Broncos less than two weeks later.
The Colts have ten picks over the seven rounds of the draft, which begins with Round One on Thursday night, April 26th and lasts through Saturday the 28th.
Grigson is hoping to use those picks to fill the numerous holes that plague the team following 2011's 2-and-14 campaign.
