(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts will take Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck in the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night.
Beyond that, the Colts have plenty of holes to fill, leaving plenty of options for the second and third rounds on Friday.
The Colts announced Monday that former wide receiver Marvin Harrison will introduce the team's picks on the second day of the draft. Those picks are the 34th and 64th overall. Ex-Colts linebacker Jeff Herrod announced the team's picks on day two of last year's draft.
The Colts open the first of two veterans' minicamps today at the team's headquarters in Indianapolis. The voluntary minicamp consists of two practices today and Wednesday and one more practice on Thursday.
Under the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement, the players can wear helmets during the practices but contact is not permitted.
The team has a three-day minicamp for rookies beginning on May 4th and a mandatory veterans' minicamp beginning on June 12th.
