(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) -The Indiana Pacers are back home to face the New York Knicks this evening at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Blue-and-Gold are coming off a split of their two-game Texas road trip, losing in San Antonio on Saturday night before pulling out an overtime victory in Houston on Sunday night.
The Knicks are 9-and-2 under interim head coach Mike Woodson, including a pair of wins over the Pacers in mid-March. New York won at Madison Square Garden 115-100 on March 16th and took the rematch the following night at the Fieldhouse 102-88. The Knicks are going for a sweep of the three-game season series.
The Pacers open play tonight with a one-game lead over Atlanta for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks are eighth in the East as they try to hold off Milwaukee for the final playoff berth.
New York enters tonight's game shorthanded. Forward Amare Stoudamire is out with a bad back while point guard Jeremy Lin is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season after being diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee.
