(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers play their next-to-last game of the regular season tonight when they welcome the Detroit Pistons to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers are coming off a 109-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia on Saturday night that snapped the Blue-and-Gold's six-game winning streak. Despite the defeat, Indiana clinched the third seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs by virtue of Atlanta's loss to New York on Sunday afternoon.
Detroit is 24-and-40 and has been out of playoff contention for a while. Tonight's game is the second of a back-to-back for the Pistons. They halted a two-game skid with a 76-73 victory over the Toronto Raptors last night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Tonight's contest is the rubber match in the three-game season series. The Pacers and Pistons have split the first two meetings with each winning on its home floor.
