(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers are in the Eastern Conference Semifinals after dispatching the Orlando Magic 105-87 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers win the best-of-seven opening-round playoff series four games to one.
Indiana jumped out to a 15-point lead in the first quarter but the Magic came back to cut the Pacers' advantage to three at halftime. Orlando took its first lead early in the third quarter and led by as many as three early in the fourth before the Pacers turned it on. Indiana outscored the Magic 36-16 in the final quarter to wrap up the series.
Danny Granger led Indiana with 27 points with Darren Collison making the key contribution off the bench. Collison went 9-for-10 from the field and scored 15 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter as the Blue-and-Gold pulled away down the stretch.
Jameer Nelson scored a game-high 27 points for the Magic with Glen Davis adding 15 and Ryan Anderson finishing with 14 points.
The Pacers will face either the Miami Heat or the New York Knicks in Round Two. The Heat lead that series three games to one with game five tonight in Miami.
