(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Colts made a trade on Wednesday, acquiring cornerback Cassius Vaughn from the Denver Broncos.
The Colts send fullback Chris Gronkowski to Denver.
Vaughn is entering his third season in the NFL. He has appeared in 22 games with three starts in his career. Vaughn has also returned kicks with nine career returns and one touchdown.
Gronkowski was signed by the Colts as a free agent last September. He played in seven games before being placed on Injured Reserve last October.
This week's OTA's wound up Wednesday at the team's westside Indianapolis headquarters. Yesterday's workout was the sixth of ten OTA's.
The team will get a week off before returning on June 6th. A three-day veteran minicamp is scheduled to begin on June 12th, which will be the last time the team is together for organized workouts before the start of training camp in late July.
