(DETROIT, MI) - After a break for the Indianapolis 500, the IndyCar series returns to a street course for the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.
Activity gets underway with two practice sessions on Friday. There will be one more practice on Saturday morning before qualifying. The race is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
It is the first time the IndyCars have raced at Belle Isle since 2008 when Justin Wilson picked up the win.
Team Penske has won all five poles this season with Dario Franchitti's victory at last Sunday's '500' snapping Will Power's three-race winning streak.
