(MIAMI, FL) - David West scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds as the Indiana Pacers beat the Miami Heat 78-75 to tie their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series at a game apiece.
George Hill added 15 points with Danny Granger scoring eleven points before fouling out and Paul George finishing with 10 points and eleven boards.
Miami's LeBron James led all scorers with 28 points with Dwyane Wade adding 24 as the Heat went scoreless over the final 2:41 of the game.
Neither team shot the ball well. The Pacers hit 38 percent of their shots but went just 3-for-15 from three-point range and missed eight of their 27 free throw attempts. Miami was worse. The Heat hit just 35 percent from the field, went 1-for-16 from long range and missed nine of their 29 chances from the free throw line.
Indiana led by as many as eleven points in the third quarter, but lost the lead on a basket by Wade with 4:11 to go in the fourth. Leandro Barbosa responded on Indiana's next possession with a layup that put the Blue-and-Gold ahead to stay.
The series heads to Indianapolis for Game Three on Thursday night.
