(INDIANAPOLIS) - Another member of the Colts’ recent Super Bowl teams appears to be headed to a new team.
Several media outlets are reporting that tight end Dallas Clark is close to signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 32-year-old Clark was a favorite target of former Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, but has seen his productivity diminish over the past two seasons primarily due to a wrist injury suffered in 2010.
The former University of Iowa product had 427 catches for 4,887 yards and 46 touchdowns over nine seasons with the Colts. He holds the Colts' franchise records for receptions and touchdowns by a tight end and trails only Hall-of-Famer John Mackey in receiving yards.
