(Indianapolis, IN) - An estimated 7,500 people showed up to witness the Indianapolis Colts’ mini-camp practice at Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Most of the fans were getting their first look at quarterback Andrew Luck, who is still getting acclimated to the Colts offense and to his new teammates.
New head coach Chuck Pagano is also getting used to the new surroundings. Pagano admitted having problems finding the Colts' locker room and once he did find it he had to ask for directions to the field. Pagano is not alone as 50 of the 90 players on the current roster are new to the Colts.
Another reason for yesterday's "open house" was to sell some of the 3,000 season tickets that remain available. Last year's 2-and-14 season helped dissolve the waiting list for tickets that has existed for more than a decade.
The three-day mini-camp wraps up today at the Colts' headquarters. It will be their last formal workout before training camp in Anderson late next month.
