(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Fever are still looking for their first win this season against first-place Connecticut as they face the Sun this evening at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Sun beat Indiana 89-81 in the first meeting between the two teams at the Fieldhouse on June 8th and took the rematch 88-85 in overtime two nights ago in Connecticut.
Kara Lawson led the Sun with 22 points with Tina Charles adding 14 as Connecticut recorded its third-straight win. Indiana's Katie Douglas led all scorers on Tuesday night with 23 points with Tamika Catchings adding 14.
The Sun are 9-and-2 and hold a one-game lead over Chicago in the WNBA's Eastern Conference. The Fever are in third place in the East at 5-and-4, three games behind Connecticut.
Indiana has dropped four of five after winning its first four games to start the season.
