(Atlanta, GA) - The Indiana Fever are in Atlanta this afternoon to take on the Dream in game two of a three-game road trip.
The Fever opened the trip with a 73-70 win in Tulsa last Saturday night to improve to 7-and-4 on the season. The win was number two in a row for Indiana after the Fever had lost four of five.
Indiana enters play today in third place in the WNBA's Eastern Conference, a game and a half behind first-place Connecticut. Chicago stands second in the Conference as the Sky are a half-game ahead of Indiana. The Dream are fourth in the East at 5-and-7, two and a half games behind the Fever.
Atlanta is coming off a 74-64 win over the New York Liberty Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark. Indiana is 2-and-0 against Atlanta this season, defeating the Dream 92-84 in the season opener May 19th at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and winning again at Philips Arena 78-62 on May 27th.
Atlanta eliminated the Fever in the WNBA Playoffs last season, winning the Eastern Conference Finals two games to one.
