(Rosemont, IL) - Shavonte Zellous scored a season-high 18 points as the Indiana Fever continued their dominance over Chicago this season, defeating the Sky 81-72.
The game was close throughout the first half with Indiana taking a 37-34 lead to the locker room at intermission.
The Fever took control with a 12-0 run early in the third quarter and built a game-high 13-point advantage midway through the period. Indiana maintained the double-digit advantage through most of the final period in winning for the third time in their last four games.
Tamika Catchings finished with 17 points and nine assists with Jeanette Pohlen adding 14 points off the bench as the Fever improve to 8-and-5 on the season.
Sylvia Fowles led Chicago with 19 points and ten rebounds with Swin Cash scoring 17 points and Tamera Young finishing with 15 as the Sky fall to 7-and-4. Three of those losses are to Indiana.
The Fever are off until July 5th when they return home to face the San Antonio Silver Stars.
