(Indianapolis, IN) - The IHSAA baseball tournament concludes this weekend at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
The Class 3-A championship game is on tonight's schedule with Western taking on Brebeuf Jesuit. Both the Panthers and the Braves are making their inaugural appearances in the State Finals.
The final three title games are scheduled for Saturday beginning with the Class-A matchup between Lafayette Central Catholic and Shakamak. The Knights are going for an unprecedented fourth-straight State Championship and their sixth overall. The Lakers were the last team other than LCC to win the Class-A title, taking their lone championship in 2008.
The 2-A game is next with Northfield taking on Evansville Mater Dei. The Norsemen are making their second championship game appearance having won the 2-A title in 2001. Wildcats are making their fifth State Finals appearance having won the 2-A title in 1999.
Saturday's action concludes with the Class 4-A title game between Lake Central and Roncalli. The Indians are in the championship game for the third time and are still looking for their first state title. The Rebels are in the championship game for the first time in 30 years as they go for their first state championship.
