(Sonoma, CA) - The NASCAR Sprint Cup series runs of the first of two road courses this season as they take on Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.
One practice session is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon before qualifying. There will be two practice sessions on Saturday with the race on Sunday afternoon.
Kurt Busch is the defending race winner, taking the victory with Penske Racing last year. He has since moved on to Phoenix Racing.
Matt Kenseth enters the weekend as the Sprint Cup points leader with last week's winner at Michigan, Dale Earnhardt Junior, lurking in second place four points back.
