(Minneapolis, MN) Jamie Carroll’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning drove home Alexi Casilla with the winning run as the Minnesota Twins edged the Chicago White Sox 7-6.
Ryan Doumit and Danny Valencia drove in two runs apiece as the Twins extend their winning streak to four.
AJ Pierzynski hit a three-run home run for the White Sox with Alejandro De Aza driving in a pair, including the game-tying run with a single in the eighth inning.
Detroit also lost last night, falling to the Red Sox in Boston, so Chicago's lead in the AL Central remains at a game and a half over the Tigers.
