(LONDON, ENGLAND) For the second time in as many days, a Hoosier diver has medaled at the Olympics in London.
Noblesville's David Boudia and partner Nick McCrory won the bronze in the men's ten-meter synchronized diving competition.
The Chinese pair of Cao Yuan and Zhang Yanquan win the gold with Ivan Garcia and German Sanchez of Mexico taking the silver.
Boudia competed at Purdue before turning pro in the spring of 2011 and finished eighth with follow Hoosier Thomas Finchem in this event at Beijing four years ago.
West Lafayette's Kelci Bryant won the silver in the women's three-meter synchronized diving competition on Sunday.
Bryant and her partner, Abby Johnston, claimed the first medals in diving for the United States since 2000.
No American male had taken home a medal in diving since 1996 when the late Mark Lenzi won the bronze on the three-meter springboard in Atlanta.
Lenzi, who passed away in April, dove collegiality for Indiana University.
