(Indianapolis, IN) - Multiple sources reported yesterday that the City of Indianapolis will bid for another Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl Host Committee has called a news conference for 10:30 this morning to discuss the economic impact of Superbowl 46, but it hasn't been confirmed if the announcement will come today. Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and Governor Mitch Daniels are expected to be in attendance.
The next available game is in 2016 and the league will select the host city in the fall.
The reviews of the 2012 Superbowl in Indianapolis were overwhelmingly positive, with compliments ranging from the city's accessibility to the mild weather.
