(Indianapolis, IN) - The Indiana Pacers open their rookie - free agent camp today at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Veterans Jeff Pendergraph and Lance Stevenson will participate as will last week's draft picks - Miles Plumlee and Orlando Johnson.
Each of the state's big three universities are represented in the corps of free agents participating in the four-day camp. Former Purdue guard Chris Kramer, former Notre Dame guard Ben Hansbrough and swingman Robert Vaden, who played at Indiana before transferring to Alabama-Birmingham, will practice as they look for berths on the Pacers' Orlando Summer Pro League team.
Kramer was part of the Pacers' Pro League team in 2010 and spent that season playing for Fort Wayne in the NBA Developmental League. Hansbrough was undrafted after graduating in 2011 and played last season in Europe. Vaden spent last season with Tulsa in the D-League.
