(Washington D.C.) - Robert Griffin III signed a contract with the Washington Redskins yesterday that’s worth 21.1 million dollars over four years.
The second overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft is now cleared to participate in Redskins training camp when it opens July 26th.
At Lucas Oil Stadium yesterday, Jim Irsay was again confident that a deal with Andrew Luck would be completed soon, ensuring the Stanford phenom would participate at camp from day one.
Luck is expected to make around 22 million dollars over four years, a contract similar to last year's first overall pick, Cam Newton.
Colts rookie tight ends Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen also need to be signed before camp starts. The first practice is a week from Sunday.
