(Chicago, IL) Rookie Anthony Rizzo hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to give the Chicago Cubs a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Cubs jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Starlin Castro's RBI groundout in the first inning and starting pitcher Paul Maholm's run-scoring fielder's choice in the second.
The Cardinals got on the board with Tyler Green's sacrifice fly in the seventh inning and tied it when Carlos Beltran hit a solo shot off Shawn Camp in the eighth.
Both starters pitched well but came away with no-decisions.
Maholm allowed a run over six and two-thirds while the Cardinals' Adam Wainwright gave up two runs in his six innings of work.
