(Houston, TX) Drew Stubbs got the best of Francisco Cordero for the second-straight night as the Cincinnati Reds extended their winning streak to seven with a come from behind 5-3 victory over the Houston Astros.
Homer Bailey threw seven shutout innings for the Reds but Houston got three runs off Logan Ondrusek in the eighth to take a 3-2 lead.
Xavier Paul doubled and Brandon Phillips walked before Stubbs doubled them home with two out in the top of the ninth to give the Reds a 4-3 lead.
Jay Bruce followed with a double to score Stubbs.
On Tuesday, Stubbs hit a two-run homer off Cordero in the ninth as Cincinnati won that game 4-2.
Wednesday's loss was then ninth in a row for the Astros as the Reds sweep the three-game series.
