(Anderson, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts return to the practice field at Anderson University today after having a day off.
The Horseshoes will hold a walk-through this morning before their full practice in the afternoon which will be open to the public.
The Colts were impressive in knocking off the St. Louis Rams 38-3 in the preseason opener last Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
This weeekend they appear on Sunday Night Football as they take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. A pair of Colts starters suffered significant injuries in last weekend's preseason win over the Rams.
Inside linebacker Pat Angerer suffered a fracture to his foot and head coach Chuck Pagano says Angerer will probably need surgery.
Pagano expects Angerer to be out for six weeks. Offensive lineman Mike McGlynn has a high ankle sprain. Pagano was not specific as to how much time McGlynn will miss.
Backup linebacker Scott Lutrus tore an ACL and will miss the season.
A pair of running backs suffered minor dings against the Rams as Mewelde Moore and Delone Carter are nursing rib injuries.
Pagano says both backs could miss some time. Training Camp continues in Anderson through Friday.
