(Milwaukee, WI) - Ryan Braun hit his National League-leading 34th home run of the season to lead the Milwaukee Brewers past the Chicago Cubs 3-2 to complete a three-game series sweep.
David DeJesus led off the game with a solo homer off Milwaukee starter Yovani Gallardo, but the Brewers took the lead for good in the bottom of the first thanks to RBI doubles from Braun and Corey Hart.
Braun made it 3-1 in the sixth when he hit a solo shot off Cubs starter Travis Wood in the sixth.
Bryan LaHair got Chicago to within a run with a solo blast off Gallardo in the seventh, but they would not score again en route to their fourth-straight loss.
Both starters went seven innings as Gallardo improves to 13-8 while Wood drops to 4-10.
