(St. Louis, MO) The St. Louis Cardinals moved back into second place in the NL Central with their 4-2 win over the Houston Astros.
Kyle Lohse allowed two runs in his seven innings of work to improve to 13-2 on the season.
Brett Wallace and Chris Snider hit solo homers off Lohse as the Astros took an early 2-1 lead.
Jon Jay tied the game with an RBI single in the fifth and scored the go-ahead run later in the inning on a wild pitch by Houston starter Bud Norris.
Yadier Molina added an RBI single in the eighth as the Cardinals move ahead of Pittsburgh by a half-game in the division.
Norris gets the loss for the Astros as he drops to 5-11. Houston has lost six games in a row.
