(Chicago, IL) - David DeJesus homered twice and drove in three runs as the Chicago Cubs beat the Houston Astros 7-2.
Starlin Castro added a two-run shot for the Cubs to back a strong effort from starter Justin Germano.
Germano pitched into the seventh inning, allowing two runs on five hits to even his record at 2-2.
Rookie Brett Jackson also had an RBI triple for Chicago and scored on a passed ball. Scott Moore hit a solo homer for the Astros.
Houston starter Bud Norris did not get out of the fourth inning, allowing six runs on eight hits to fall to 5-10.
