(Toronto, ON) David Cooper hit an RBI single with one out in the bottom of the eleventh inning to give the Toronto Blue Jays a 3-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Edwin Encarnacion gave Toronto a 1-0 lead with an RBI single off Chicago starter Jake Peavy.
Adam Dunn tied the game in the fourth with a solo home run off Carlos Villanueva. Rookie Moises Sierra put the Jays back in front when he touched Peavy for a solo shot. It is the first home run of Sierra's career.
Dunn forced extra innings with his second solo homer of the night, this one coming in the top of the ninth off Casey Janssen.
Dunn reached 1,000 career runs batted in with the second home run. In the eleventh, Leyson Septimo gave up a one-out walk before being relieved by Nate Jones.
Jones gave up a single to Encarnacion before surrendering Cooper's game-winner.
